Is it intentional that all files will be part of the zip even if a filter is setup?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Attachments Macro

The macro allows it to configure a regex-filter, so only a part of the files will be shown, but if the 'download all' link is clicked, this filter doesn't have any effect. It would be a lot nicer if the filter would also work in this case.
