As a Software Developer, you will serve as one of our lead innovators, to accelerate the company’s business performance. , including development, deployment, upgrading to maintenance, improvements, customer support, etc.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop innovative software applications that fill a niche in the market and allow us remain competitive
2. Manage the end-to-end life cycle for the development of new and existing software applications from conception to maintenance and improvement;
- Study market needs, user pain points, and feedback, and analyze system flow, data usage, and work processes to uncover opportunities and ideas
- Develop documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
- Maintain the software’s quality and ensure that it is always up-to-date with the latest technologies as much as possible
- Responsible for the Product Lifecycle of the app until the introduction phase, including but not limited to customer service, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and product management.
3. Communicate effectively with the team members and collaborate closely with other teams to achieve the team goals and the company's overall success.
4. Responsible for creating and managing technical documentation in the company to guide future software development projects in collaboration with team members
5. Keep abreast of the latest innovations in the field, and suggest the application of relevant innovations to products and their implementation in internal systems.
6. Design and deploy the IT infrastructure required for Software development projects, and maintain it to ensure the proper operation.
7. Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
8. Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Javascript (including Node.js), ReactJS, HTML, and CSS are required. Any additional tech stack, such as Typescript, Next.js, jest, etc., will be preferred.
- Hands on experience in implementation and deployment with AWS is a must.
- Experience with software development frameworks and tools
- Experience with Atlassian Software is required. It would be a huge plus if you have experience developing Atlassian-related apps.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB), and web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of software development methodologies
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with remote team members
- Self-motivation and excellent time management skills to maintain productivity and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
- Adaptability and flexibility to accommodate changes in project requirements or technology stack, and willingness to work with team members across different time zones
- Cybersecurity awareness and adherence to best practices and the company's policy to ensure the security of data and systems while working remotely
- Passion for learning, adaptability to new technologies, and commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions
