This professional consultant works directly with clients for effective deployment of Isos Technology products and services. This individual is a self-starter who values team input and is willing to give input for the betterment of the team.

This position will support our Federal Consulting Practice, our Prime Contractor's development team, and the United States Air Force (USAF) end-users that fully embrace Atlassian tools to enable their cultural transformation into a digital environment. In this position, you will be the face of Isos and our client at a USAF Wing-level command to advise senior-level military leaders on the maintenance of their Atlassian suite, special project implementation, and liaison to the greater Isos project team to ensure best practices are implemented across the architecture, which supports multiple units.

Consulting Responsibilities

As an Atlassian Consultant you will provide design, solutioning, and implementation services within the Atlassian technologies. You will have the following responsibilities:

• Serve as Atlassian Tools Subject Matter Expert; advise Client(s) on best practices, guidelines and recommendations

• Analyze how Clients' teams, departments, and divisions use technologies to manage their work

• Work with Isos internal and Client(s) to groom the backlog of work activities required to meet all the business objectives of the engagement

• Architect and deliver enterprise solutions using the Atlassian suite including the Atlassian Marketplace apps

• Advise and train Client(s) on how to manage and evolve their use of the Atlassian suite

• Maintain and provide access to accurate task lists, especially Kanban boards, Scrum boards and any other required artifacts that express specific tasks, completion status and dependent activities

• Be accountable for staying within the budget agreed to for each engagement

• Provide support to Sales team for pitches, proposals, and pre-engagement budget estimation and contract creation

• Regularly contribute informative and engaging original content to be used in Isos Atlassian Services marketing efforts in the form of white papers, blog posts and social media status updates

Requirements

To function in the role of an Atlassian Functional Consultant, Isos requires that you already have the following demonstrable and verifiable skills:

• 5+ years experience and/or expert knowledge of Atlassian Jira Software and Confluence

• 2+ years experience administering Atlassian Jira Service Management

• A combination of advanced and/or end user knowledge of all other core Atlassian products

• Potential for off-hours and weekend work in urgent/emergency situations

• Ability to conduct yourself professionally and within the Isos values

• Ability to effectively manage priorities and expectations

• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple clients and engagements simultaneously

• Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) for executive, technical and business operations audiences

Additional Requirements

• 4+ years of experience working as a member of or defense contractor to the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community

• Clearance Required: Top Secret with SCI eligibility

• On-Site Required, Location: San Antonio, TX

• Ability to travel to Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland daily

• Experience advising and briefing Lt. Colonel / GS-14 or higher service members

We support pay transparency and the compensation range for this position is between $110,000- 125,000 plus eligibility for the company bonus program, a suite of employee benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with an employer contribution. Actual compensation can vary based on qualifications, experience, and geographic pay differentials. A successful comprehensive background and clearance check is required post offer.
