Here are some of our favorite resources that we’ve designed to help you get started:

  • Atlassian University Courses (all courses are free):

    • Jira Service Management Fundamentals: This course is designed to help you understand the interface of Jira Service Management and how to set up your first service desk.

    • Looking for something a little more advanced? Check out these courses:

      • Managing Jira service projects: This course walks you through configuration tasks to set up and customize your service project and customer portal.

      • Service requests essentials: This course teaches you best practices to improve your service request management process. There is also a walkthrough of the asset and knowledge management capabilities in JSM.

  • Don’t have time for a course? Check out these product guides:

    • Quick start guide: You should be able to get everything set up in JSM by following the in-product getting started prompts. However, if you need additional help or just want to see everything in one place before diving in, this guide is for you. :slight_smile:

    • Getting started support docs: This is a collection of technical documentation that helps new agents understand the ins and outs of JSM.
