Remove/Hide Transition Labels

Is it possible to hide/remove the transition labels?

The only way to show only statuses and not the transition names while you're make some transition in your Jira is build your workflow as an 'Open' workflow.

Generally you really have custom transitions allowing your issues to be transitioned from your statuses, but if you have an open workflow, you'll have only one single reference from each status.

In short, an open flow is when all statuses have a single 'all' transition allowing that regardless of where the issue is, it can go to any of the statuses freely. See example below.

Note that I don't have any transitions linking the statuses directly. All statuses have a single "All" transition

And this is how it will be displayed when changing the status.

The "All" transition carries exactly the status name. The transition name can be changed, but by default when you create an 'All' transition it will be created with the status name.

To create an All status transition, simply go to your workflow edit > Click on the status and select the option "Allow all statuses to transition to this one"
