Global Field limitations

Since this is beta, not sure if you want a bug reported, but I'm curious if anyone else in beta has noticed a 'character' limitation on these new global fields.

Hi @Tere Pile 

It seems the limitations are similar to other Jira cloud fields:

Limitations

At the moment, only a subset of field types are supported

  • People, custom formulas & vote fields are not supported as global custom fields

  • Supported Jira fields in Jira Product Discovery projects are label, text, URL, select, multi-select and number.

If it's a Short Text field, the limit should be 255 chars.

What field are you looking for the max char limit?

The 3 fields are each multi select - but you bring up an interesting point.  

I removed the 'descriptions' for each which were not long but, removed, and issue resolved.  Added back 1 sentence descriptions to cover for now.  All working
