Update Feature Create Screen

When we create a new feature on Jira Align it populates certain set of fields by default. Is it possible to bring additional fields in the create screen? For example fields like Tags or Acceptance Criteria can they be made to appear on the default page load?

Yes, it's possible to add custom fields to the Feature's create screen, please refer to JA's help article Configure default and custom fields.

One thing to notice is that the tags field is only displayed once the Feature is saved.

Thanks Lima, I do not want to add custom fields. I want to show couple of the out of the box fields that are already available. example Tags, Jira project. I want to show them on the feature create screen itself and not on feature update after the save button is pressed

Thanks for clarifying!  For the Feature creation screen, the Jira Project field is displayed as soon as the primary program is selected, however, I understand you'd like to see both Tags and Jira Project fields as soon as the feature creation window opens. If that's the case you can raise a suggestion request for JA using the below steps below.

1. Go to https://support.atlassian.com/contact/
2. Select What can we help you with? = Product Suggestions
3. Click on the "Go to Product Suggestions" button
4. Click Create and fill out the form with your enhancement request.

If you prefer you can raise a JA support ticket and we'll raise the suggestion request on your behalf!
