🪄Confluence Automation New AI Actions!!! 😲

👋 Community! Avinoam from Confluence Automation here once again and today with three new AI components available natively in the rule builder!

1 - AI Condition

Use AI to determine the relationship between a smart value and a word or phrase either in the content body or the content title.

In this example, whether I choose for the AI condition to check if the content title or body relates to "payroll" it will be much more powerful than simply looking for the term "payroll" in the title or body of the page. It will actually match based on terms it deems to be related. For example: If the title or body has information about things like salary, compensation, etc it will know to define them as related. 

This allows to capture a lot more nuance of information on two levels:

1. Going beyond just explicit matching criteria to cast a wider net and make automation a lot more sophisticated
2. Going beyond just the title for the first time in automation, and actually being able to pick up on nuanced information from the page content itself to make automations criteria more powerful than ever.

2 - AI Action: Summarize with AI

This action uses AI to create a summary that you can use as a smart value in this rule.

3 - AI Action: Generate AI action items

This action uses AI to generate action items based on a smart value.

This is already live to all Confluence Premium and Enterprise customers!

Love the sound of this. Definitely making me think about things we have and want to do. What sort of AI actions can we enable right now. Page editing, creation of actions etc?

@YY哥 looks like you were trying to use the AI condition where you manually enter a string you want AI to find related content too either in the page's title or body.

For the Summarize Action, you'd input your smart value - in this example {{page}} and then to access your summary in other actions you would use {{generatedAISummary}}.

@Dan Tombs The key AI actions you can enable right now are Summarizing and Creating Action Items. You can select pretty much any input you want in the form of a smart value and use the AI output smart values ({{generatedAISummary}} and {{generatedAIActionItems}}) on any surface (slack message, JSM ticket, Jira ticket, email, Confluence page/comment, etc).
