Is it possible to restore deleted database entries?

A user deleted entries in a database last Friday, 4/26, and then entered new information.  We need to recover and restore the previous entries as they have significant historical importance.

I tried going to Space Settings>Manage Content>Trash but do not see any of the entries available to restore.

If you've checked the trash in Confluence and couldn't find the deleted entries there, it's possible that they were permanently deleted or the trash retention period has expired. Here are some additional steps you can take to attempt to recover the deleted entries:

Database Backups: Check if your Confluence instance is regularly backed up. If so, you might be able to restore the database from a backup taken before the entries were deleted. Once the database is restored, you can extract the relevant entries and re-import them into the current database.

Audit Logs: Check the audit logs or transaction logs of your database management system (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) to see if there are any records of the entries being deleted. This may provide insights into who deleted the entries and when.

Backup Solutions: If you have any third-party backup solutions or data recovery tools in place for your Confluence instance, they might be able to help recover the deleted entries.

Confluence Support: If none of the above methods yield results, you may need to reach out to Atlassian Support for further assistance. They may have additional tools or suggestions for recovering the deleted entries.
