Greenhopper REST API for version start dates

Peter Androutsos October 19, 2012

I'm a little new to using the REST API, and have had some success with the JIRA REST commands. Yet, I am having some problems accessing information that is specific to Greenhopper. In particular, I am trying to obtain the start date that is assigned to a particular version and possibly scrum statistics such as story points, to calculate velocity over releases.

After a day or so of digging around for details on accessing Greenhopper information using the REST API, the only information which got me anywhere was accessing the following

/rest/greenhopper/latest/sprints/5

as explained in another discussion which at least gave me some assurance that accessing Greenhopper specific data is possible on my instance (JIRA 5.1/Greenhopper 6.0.5).

Is there a current list of Greenhopper REST commands that can currently be accessed out-of-the box? I can't seem to find any decent documentation online ANYWHERE. I have read that there are end point browsers, etc, but I am not looking to implement anything to create my own endpoint, but rather need very simple tools to do a fairly simple job in terms of automated reporting.

Not sure where to go from here.

Can you share the link to the Greenhopper Rest API docs?

Found -something-.

Seems that the link which i found that cited docs showed nothing unless logged into my.atlassian.com, so I wasn't seeing anything during my search.

Thankfully, the endpoints are documented but still no direct route to the Start Date - that data is not actually included in the call to getVersionInfo.
