How to get rid of "Powered by Atlassian" "Terms of Use" and the "Answers" links behind my buttons on my documentation footer

Hi there,

I have created a documentation footer on my anonymous Wiki space with three buttons, similar to yours. When the children pages list is expanded i.e. you see all the children pages under it, the buttons show up nicely at the bottom of the page, when the children pages list is minimised, my middle button is on top of "Powered by Atlassian" "Terms of Use" and the "Answers" links and it is evident. How do I get rid of that so it looks like how your help site looks?

Would appreciate your support.

Cheers,

Shreena

Sorry to say that you are not permitted to remove "Powered by Atlassian" from the footer - this is part of the Atlassian End User License Agreement:

4.6 Attribution. In any use of the Software, End User must include the following attribution to Atlassian on all user interfaces in the following format: "Powered by Atlassian", which must in every case include a hyperlink to http://www.atlassian.com, and which must be in the same format as delivered in the Software.

Are you using Confluence OnDemand? If so, you will not be able to customise the apperarance of the default footer. This is because the apperance of the footer is controlled by the active theme in Confluence and theme customisation is a restricted function (ie. not available to customers) in Atlassian OnDemand:

As Confluence uses a custom theme, it is not possible to customise the layout.

It is also not possible to style Confluence with CSS.

If you download and run your own version of Confluence on your own server, you can modify the theme to change the look and feel of the footer.

Thanks... Guess I could try to make the buttons smaller and see if that makes any difference.
