Greenhopper New Card with interval field gives 'Failed to set field'

Sebastien Wauters September 12, 2012

We use greenhopper 5.8.7 in jira 4.4 and we want to add a interval field on the 'new Card' button. If we try to fill in the field it gives the exception 'Failed to set field'.

In the log's of jira we see:

2012-09-13 14:59:24,808 http-9092-3 ERROR swa 899x2192x1 1ldb0iu 10.0.2.249 /secure/GHCreateNewIssue.jspa [greenhopper.jira.util.IssueCreationManager] java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

Any idea how to resolve this? I wanted to share a picture but I don't have 'karma' point.

Jayasingh is having this issue with a standard multiple-user select list, not one of the Kepler fields. See https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/280103/multiple-assignees-failed-to-set-field-error-in-jira-agile6-3-3- you'll see the request for logs outstanding there too (we're struggling because Tomcat isn't the application server and we don't know what is being used or where the full logs are)

Forgot to mention that the interval field comes from the Kepler Custom Fields Plugin.
