We are trying to set up a "quiz" in Confluence. We have used the survey macro to get the questions and answers but, the macro does not show who answered and when they answered. Since this is a quiz, we need to know who was the first person to submit the correct answer.

Is there a way to do this with the survey macro? Is there another/better way to do this?

Hi!

Instead of using Survey for this purpose you can use Gilly or DForm:

Thanks for the suggestion Bruna. Looks like either of these will work for me. Unfortunately, they are both commercial license plugins. We were hoping to do this without spending any money.

Hi,

With the izi - LMS for Confluence add-on you can create quizzes and tests, distribute them, and track completion and results. Quizzes doesn't require any integrations and allows you to work with tests right in Confluence. You can:

  • Build plain text quizzes and tests with images, videos, formatted text
  • Configure test settings
  • Assign tests to Confluence users or people without a Confluence account by sharing a quiz link via email
  • Let participants self-enroll to tests
  • View reports by user and by question
  • See answers of each participant

Here are some posts you can read on the topic:
