Our GreenHopper RapidBoard functionality is breaking with this exception:

Exception: Error: Cannot bind new shortcut "dt" due to conflict with existing shortcut "d"
Resource: http://jira.tiu11.org/s/en_USqv4qo1/768/19/1/_/download/superbatch/js/batch.js
Line: 463

Here is a screenshot:

We recently upgraded to Jira 5.1 with Greenhopper 5.10.5.1. I created a rapid board without incident. While updating the filter and tweaking the RapidBoard configuration, something happened.

Any ideas on how to resolve this error?

Atlassian resolved my ticket. The errors go away when the Atlassian Developer Toolbox plugin is disabled.

This is an unsupported plugin. While it looks nifty, it was just something we were playing with, so disabling it wasn't a big problem.

In case it helps the community, here are details from the ticket:

I believe this is happening due to a conflict between GreenHopper and another plugin. Since I could see the following in your logs:

2012-07-23 12:52:16,341 pool-10-thread-4 INFO ahoyt 772x2307x1 1v5tptw 172.16.10.86 /rest/plugins/1.0/ [atlassian.plugin.loaders.ScanningPluginLoader] Plugin Unit: /var/atlassian/application-data/jira/plugins/installed-plugins/plugin.8196945011275789470.developer-toolbox-plugin-1.2.jar (1343062336000) created
2012-07-23 12:52:16,417 pool-10-thread-4 INFO ahoyt 772x2307x1 1v5tptw 172.16.10.86 /rest/plugins/1.0/ [atlassian.plugin.util.WaitUntil] Plugins that have yet to be enabled: [com.atlassian.devrel.developer-toolbox-plugin], 60 seconds remaining

I'm suspecting this issue may be occurring due to theAtlassian Developer Toolboxplugin, therefore, could you try to disable this plugin and then verify if the problem persists. Or, if you are not able to disable it, try removing it from the<tt>/var/atlassian/application-data/jira/plugins/installed-plugins/</tt>directory and restarting JIRA.

If even by disabling the plugin the problem persists, please try disabling the plugins one by one, veryfing if the problem continues to find out which plugin is the culprit. Also, if it is the Developer Toolbox, I'd advise you to use it when you need to view the REST API for any plugin and make sure you disable it after that.

We'll be waiting to hear how it goes.

Should be fixed in GreenHopper 6.0.1: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-5617

It's great to see this fixed. I know the Developer Toolbox is an unsupported plugin, but I'm working to expand our Jira API usage and that looks like it would be helpful for digging into the APIs.

Thanks

The "gg" keyboard shortcut is also broken, and raises this exception: TypeError: jira.app.adminQuickNavDialog is undefined

Here is a screenshot:

This might be a side-effect of the earlier error, as it that error breaks the initialization of the page.

I'm thinking this is a GreenHopper JavaScript bug, so opening a support ticket.

The Firefox console logs the same error on the traditional Planning/Task/Chart Board, but it doesn't break the board.
