Can Issue Collector work if JIRA context path is set?

Our context path is set as follows:

<Context path="/issues" ...>

Issue collector does not work properly. Upon submitting an issue the resulting screen has no confirmation and no way to close the window. A bit of JSON string can be seen (see attached).

However, the issue does get submitted.

It works fine if we change our JIRA context:

<Context path="" ...>

Hi Chad,

Unfortunately, the issue collector breaks when the context path ends with a "s". In your case the context path is "/issues" which ends with a "s".

The work around as you have already discovered is to not have context paths ending with "s"

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-29006 has been raised for this.

We'll wait for the bugfix. It is not trivial to change an established URL in an enterprise environment.
