Reporting Across Projects / User Workload Report / User Timelines

Ian Logie August 15, 2011

Hi,

Reporting in JIRA seems to be at project level however in a small team it is more appropriate to report on all planned activities, progress and individual user workload across all relevant projects. Is there a way I can acheive the following reports:-

All projects, issues / tasks etc in a timeline. E.g. I want to know where tasks and estimates fall within the next 3 months.

All projects, issues / tasks per user in a timeline. E.g. so I can review individual user workload.

What I'm thinking is there should be a basic Gantt style report that shows project name, task etc. name and start date, estimated time and finish date.

you can easily implement this sort of report with the JIRA PDF View Plugin. in fact, there is a Gantt chart report template available in the downloadable package, which could serve as an ideal starting point for your custom report. (this template does support multiple projects.)
