no results with federated search confluence / sharepoint

Benjamin Maier July 11, 2012

Hello,

i have a problem with the "SharePoint Connector". I get no results by the "Federated Search Webpart".

Here are my settings:

location name: Confluence

display name: development confluence wiki

location type: OpenSearch 1.0/1.1

trigger: always

query template: http://10.62.10.10:8090/plugins/servlet/opensearch?query={searchTerms}&format=rss_1.0&os_authType=basic

"more results" link template: http://10.62.10.10:8090/dosearchsite.action?queryString={userQuery}

restrict use: no restriction

enter credentials: user / basic authentication

Can someone help me?

Thanks much

Hi Benjamin,

Do you know if your Confluence server is using the default login method, or if an SSO solution has been configured (eg. NTLM)?

Is the OpenSearch plugin installed on your Confluence server? What happens if you try and access the "query template" URL directly via a web browser?

Are you using the default Federated Search Web part or the Confluence Federated Search Result Web Part?

Have you configured SharePoint to connect to your Confluence server via the "Confluence Settings" administation page in Site Admin?
