Prepopulate subtask fields from the parent

Hello,

I am looking every were for a plugin that can perform prepopulating a subtasks fields from the parents. If anybody can let me know of any plugins that can do this it would help greatly. If it is possable to accomplish this by making my own plugin i would consider that aswell if you can point me in the right direction.

There's now a very easy to configure way to keep fields for parents and sub-tasks in sync using Automation for JIRA!

You can easily modify related issues (such as parents, stories, sub-tasks, epics, linked issues and even JQL) using our related issues action and condition:

(this example updates the description, but pretty much any field can be edited)
