Hello,
My need is to retreive a RSS Feed from Confluence thanks the SOAP API.
In https://developer.atlassian.com/display/CONFDEV/Confluence+XML-RPC+and+SOAP+APIs we can see the description of a Data Object named RSS Feed:
I don't see in the WSDL the method adapted to this object:(
Anybody know how to use this object?
Regards,
Olivier

Hi Olivier,
I think that documentation is incorrect - there are no RSS Feed objects in the Confluence Remote API. It's possible that they existed in earlier versions, but have been removed.
If you want to access RSS feeds from Confluence remotely, you should just access the Feed URL directly and manipulate the Atom or RSS result.
You can configure the contents of a Confluence RSS feed using the feed builder - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Using+the+RSS+Feed+Builder
I've updated the documentation to remove the RSS Feed entry.

Thanks for your answer and for the documentation update!
Your workaround include an inconvenient: the feed must be public. My goal is to catch a private rss feed, and it's why I need to do it with the Remote API.
Currently my workaround is to create a page in Confluence to publish the RSS feed. Thanks the remote API I can read this page and parses it to retreive the RSS item. It's a very bad solution, but I have no better way. If you can suggest a better workaround it will be very appreciated.
Regards,
Olivier

Following the Atlassian notification, I should update this question to close it or be more precise.
No more precision is needed, it's just a limit of Confluence : the RSS can't be a data source :(
No solution, but I close the question following the Atlassian request.
