Hi:
We just upgraded to Confluence 3.5.13. We have a problem.
We had a page that was restricted to viewing for one group only, from our Active Directory. Before the upgrade any member of the group had view access to that page and its children. After the upgrade none of the Group's members could view the page. When we removed the restriction, the page was viewable.
When we set the restriction back to that group two things happen.
First, none of the members of the AD Group could view the page in question
Second, I, the administrator, was given view rights as a distinct person, without ever electing to do so. Assigning me view rights seemed to be automatic.
.Thanks in advance for any help and direction anybody can provide to solve this problem of AD Group members accessing a restricted page.
Bob
Hi Bob,
It's important to check Confluence Admin> Global Permissions and be sure that this AD group has the proper rights to access Confluence. Also, make sure that the users inside this group are also inside confluence-users group.
Hope it helps!
