Hi everybody,
I'd like to be able to send a notification email when a JIRA
project version gets marked as released. Is there any way to
do this?
Community moderators have prevented the ability to post new answers.
Write a listener to capture the version release event and send the email.

I ended up into this and wonder if this was implemented or not. Just want to know if I need to do it myself or there's something out there already.

Is there a way to do this that does not require knowledge of Java?
