Hi,
JIRA asks me to login for almost any action I do, even actions on the same page...
What went wrong?
Thanks,
janiv/
My confluence and jira had the same address.
login to conf updated the jira cookie and vice versa.
I had to have two different baselines: ip:8080/jira and ip:8090/conf, by updating the server.xml file.
We are facing the same issue at our company also (in both Confluence and JIRA). Only few people have reported this issue to me recently but I am suspecting it may be affecting lot of others too. It just kicks them out. I have confirmed with them that they have faced this issue in other browsers also (IE, Firefox, Chrome) I am personally not facing this issue. What should be our steps to resolve this issue?

Two possibilities spring to mind:
Your authentication process is broken - check the log to see the details of any errors. Also, have you changed anything recently? I remember breaking it once by trying to swap from http to https and missing bits of the config.
Or you've done something with your browser that is breaking it (a cookie or advert blocker). Try closing it and restarting it. Or, ideally, try another browser and see if that has the same problem.
