Script Runner : NumberFormatException error when copying a project

Stephane Genin January 9, 2017

Hi,

We use Script Runner to create projects from a template. We also copy the dashboards and filters, and the versions.

When clicking on Run, we get this error :

java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "project-11000" at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject$_convertProjectFilterStrings_closure14.doCall(CopyProject.groovy:698) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject.convertProjectFilterStrings(CopyProject.groovy:682) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject.this$dist$invoke$1(CopyProject.groovy) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject$2.methodMissing(CopyProject.groovy) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject$2.invokeMethod(CopyProject.groovy) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject$2$_consume_closure1$_closure2.doCall(CopyProject.groovy:668) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject$2$_consume_closure1.doCall(CopyProject.groovy:666) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject$2.consume(CopyProject.groovy:665) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject$2.consume(CopyProject.groovy) at com.atlassian.jira.util.collect.TransformingEnclosedIterable.lambda$foreach$0(TransformingEnclosedIterable.java:26) at com.atlassian.jira.util.collect.CollectionUtil.foreach(CollectionUtil.java:39) at com.atlassian.jira.util.collect.CloseableIterator$Functions.foreach(CloseableIterator.java:50) at com.atlassian.jira.ofbiz.DatabaseIterable.foreach(DatabaseIterable.java:39) at com.atlassian.jira.util.collect.TransformingEnclosedIterable.foreach(TransformingEnclosedIterable.java:26) at com.atlassian.jira.util.collect.EnclosedIterable$foreach.call(Unknown Source) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject.copyDashAndFilters(CopyProject.groovy:645) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject$copyDashAndFilters$1.callCurrent(Unknown Source) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject.doCopyProject(CopyProject.groovy:568) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject$doCopyProject$0.callCurrent(Unknown Source) at com.onresolve.scriptrunner.canned.jira.admin.CopyProject.doScript(CopyProject.groovy:289)

The project is created anyway and it seems to work...

Hi Thanos

Sorry...

I'm running an upgrade from 6.3 to 7.2 and discovered the problem today. But the local administrator tells me it's already occurring in 6.3

So the problem occurs in JIRA 6.3.10 / 4.1.3.12

and in JIRA 7.2.7 / SR 4.3.15

The problem occurs as soon as I check the Copy project-specific dashboard and filters option.

Thanks for your help

Stéphane

Stephane

We have a bug in our backlog SRJIRA-603, could you please start watching it for updates ?

Also you said that "it seems to work", could you please double check ?

Any other helpful information you have would be more than helpful, please comment directly in the issue.

thanks, Thanos
