Details of commit missing in SourceTree (see screenshots)

Wang Yudong December 18, 2016

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Viewing Log/History of a Repository

By clicking a commit in the graph log, it'll expand to state more details of the commit - Commit's full hash, commit's parents, commit author, commit date, and commit labels/tags, as well as the files involved in the commit.

I remember there should be log details inside the red box by clicking a commit as the question said above. How can I enable the log details?

By "log details", I mean the thing in the following picture, I capture it by right clicking a file and selecting "Log selected ..."

Since there weren't any public answers to be found, I opened a support ticket. I was directed to this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/sourcetreekb/how-to-wipe-sourcetree-preferences-412484640.html

I had tried removing the ApplicationSupport folder myself already, but the delete defaults line did the trick for me. If you don't remove the SourceTree folder but simply rename it, you can restore it afterwards. It's also likely the delete defaults command works without removing the application support folder, but I haven't tried that.

Thanks for the solution Eelke! Deleting defaults command without removing the application support folder also works.
