You should be able to do something like this:

Hello world|hi there

You can use the "|" character for multiple terms:

For example: hi|hello|yo|hey

Will pick up on the following messages:

  • hi there
  • hey there
  • yo how's it going
  • hello world

Botler uses regular expressions - I like to use this tool to check my regex: http://regexr.com/

If you remove the "/" in the Message Pattern field then it should do what you want. smile

So you have to use the "/" in order for it to work? I thought it was like every time some used to word in the command (without the /) the bot would pick it up...I don't think this will work for what I wanted. I'll just delete it. Thanks

That looks fine to me. I'm not too sure why that's not working for you.

You can try the following:

  • Delete that service and create a new one.
  • If that doesn't work - try to reinstall the Botler add-on. There may have been an issue during the installation. Make sure it's installed to a room and not global.
