Confluence 3.5 Jira issues macro failing when in clause is used in jQL query

Christopher Grantham March 18, 2012

Hi, I've got the following that works correctly in Jira:

{jiraissues:http://myhostname/sr/jira.issueviews:searchrequest-xml/temp/SearchRequest.xml?jqlQuery=project+%3D+CUWEB+AND+status+in+%28%22Open%22%2C%22Reopened%22%29&tempMax=1000|anonymous=true}

But I get the following error when I try to use it with the Jira issues macro and save the page in confluence:

I can get basic queries to work, but things like nested queries or using IN keyword don't work for me.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here?

Thanks

Chris.

I have found a rather crude way of getting it to work:

{jiraissues:url=http:myhostname/sr/jira.issueviews:searchrequest-xml/temp/SearchRequest.xml?jqlQuery=project+=+CUWEB+AND+status+=+"Open"+OR+project+=+CUWEB+AND+status+=+"Reopened"+OR+project+=+CUWEB+AND+assignee+=+null+order+by+createdDate+desc&tempMax=100|anonymous=true|columns=type,key,summary,assignee,status,reporter}

But this is not very elegant I can't see it being very efficient either...
