Custom log4j.properties with Jira 5

Martin Stiborsky March 6, 2012

Hello,

I'm trying to enable some custom logging with log4.properties file for my plugin package, but still, it doesn't work.

Of course, I followed official documentation (like https://developer.atlassian.com/display/DOCS/Using+your+own+log4j+configuration+for+your+plugin) and many of others articles or threads here, but still no luck

When I enable the debugging directly in the Jira for my package, then it works. So maybe my log4j.properties file is being rewritten by Jira at atlas-run?

Also I have tried --log4j parameter for atlas-run, no luck as well :(

Could it be a problem with syntaxe of my custom log4.properties? Could you please show me correct version of such file?

Thanks!

Damn :( it was completely my fail, there was tiny typo in the log4j configuration :( Fixed…no problem now.
