Hi,

What about if different users are working on the same attachment at the same time?

Kind regards,

Nuria

Then they will effectively branch the attachment and save two versions that you'll want to think about merging.

You can impose some basic locking if you want, but it needs add-ons.  I've only really used Arsenale's Lockpoint myself, and will happily recommend it, but there may be others.

two (or more) users can be working on the same attachment by downloading it to their PC.

If they upload them back again with EXACTLY the same file name, then they will be saved as different versions in that time order and will be seen in the attachment version history but you will have to download both versions to do a document comparison

This is one of the main benefits of converting attachments into normal pages in Confluence - yes, two people can still have the page open in edit mode, but when one saves after the other it will flag that another save has happened since you opened it
