JIRA (as version 6.4) stores due date as TimeStamp with Timezone (at least in Postgres, don't know in MySQL or other DBs).
This create a problem for those countries that have DST when returning to standard time: Due Dates (and in general all date picker custom fields) set while the DST was on, will show the previous day after returning to standard time.
I wonder if you have found any workaround for this problem.
Thanks in advance.
This one seems to be related:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-47286
If this situation is so common, why it hasn't been reported by 00s of users before?
Well that just sounds like a bug.
Is there already a bug report on https://jira.atlassian.com/ ?
If there was, then that bug report is where the workaround should be reported, or at least linked from.
