Hey Barani!

The last official information I've heard is, well, not much.  It's actually quite frustrating, as this question comes up all the time.

That said, even though UWC has been deprecated since 4.3.7, you may have luck with it on Confluence 5+.  You can download the source here.  Again, this is not officially supported, so tread lightly.

Also take a look at the HTML to Confluence Converter.  Basically, you'd take an HTML dump from MediaWiki, and convert it via that tool.

I really wish there were more accepted solutions, but I also understand that there are seemingly infinite variations with other wikis, that development of a single tool for converting is near impossible.

Good luck!

+1 here

Did you have any experience with the the HTML converter?

Yeah, I'm interested in that as well, since the official documentation only says "the Universal Wiki Converter (UWC) does not support Confluence versions after 4.3.7."

Okay, that's how /not/ to migrate content into Confluence. But it doesn't answer the question of how we actually /do/ migrate content into Confluence.

I agree, I am doing an evaluation and find Atlassians inability to address this issue outside of community posts to be lame at best. "We don't talk about importing from other wikis so the problem must not exist. Go somewhere else for answers we don't want to address."
