The entire process is outlined in the document here. Atlassian Support assisted imports are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and lead times vary depending on demand. File a ticket at https://support.atlassian.com in the 'JIRA Studio' project when you're ready to start migration.

I know it is cheesy for us to seed questions, but I'm just updating this one from back in the old dog-food/testing days to reflect OnDemand vs. JIRA Studio.
