JVM option to top the memory used by ScriptRunner?

Is there a JVM option that can limit the amount of memory used by a SR script (or by all the SR scripts that might be running at any given moment)?

The broader question would be can you limit the amount of memory used by any particular plugin, and the answer is no, not to my knowledge. I wouldn't even know how you'd work out what memory was attributable to which plugin.
