Session timeout -> login -> odd redirect

Marc Fletcher February 4, 2016

If my JIRA login session times out, I am redirected to the following page:

https://jira.ebx.sh/login.jsp?os_destination=https%3A%2F%2Fjira.ebx.sh%2Fsecure%2FRapidBoard.jspa%3FrapidView%3D7%26view%3Ddetail%26selectedIssue%3DTEC-717

If I then successfully login using the OpenId add-on I am redirected to:

https://jira.ebx.shhttps//jira.ebx.sh/secure/RapidBoard.jspa?rapidView=7&view=detail&selectedIssue=TEC-717#

Which obviously doesn't work as the os_destination field is not being interpreted as an absolute reference. Looks like a potential bug.

If I login from the above login.jsp link using the default JIRA auth I do not experience this login redirect issue.

Thanks for raising this. Seems like a bug. I will fix it.

Are you using version 2.6.0? I cannot reproduce the problem with it.

Are you using JIRA standalone with its own Tomcat? Do you have any reverse proxy in front? I imagine you have https://jira.ebx.sh set as JIRA base URL in General configuration?
