Hi all,

We are currently looking for a plugin similar to the Microsoft word/excel-addon that allows a text-file (.txt) attached to a confluence page to be downloaded/edited and automatically uploaded again to confluence. Does anyone know of a addon/plugin/workaround?

Kind regards

Jonas

Hi Jonas,

did you try webDAV before?

Here's how you can use it for your confluence instance:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/configuring-a-webdav-client-for-confluence-148044.html

If you go that way you don't have to care about file-locks, down- or upload. It simply does - like a fileshare.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, Mario

No, and i was not aware it was this simple to set up either. Will bounce your suggestion with the people who requested the feature, but this looks as promising as it gets. Thank you, will approve you an "answer" point if accepted.
