Hi All ,

I have Jira and confluence integrated , I want to have a common UI for both the applications exactly similar to the Jira Ondemand . In Ondemand I have tabs for "Issues" which takes me to jira ,and "wiki" which takes me to confluence

In the same way i want my downloaded versions to have a common UI having tabs for jira and confluence.

How can i achieve this ?

ideas ,suggestions, comments appreciated :)

Thank you .

The OnDemand wrapper and integration is for OnDemand only. Some people have done something similar in a couple of places.

Also, during a conversation with Atlassian on something not really related, they said they were considering releasing OnDemand, or something very like it as an integrated package. Precisely because people would like the option (I certainly would, and I think it would answer your question neatly!)

Hi Nic ,

Thanks for the quick response , If some people have done it then it is possible to do something like this in the downloaded version . I was thinking whether this will be possible by adding some jsp's or modifying the exiting UI.

I've seen it done with a drop-down bar across the top (header html in Confluence and a minor hack to the header jsp in Jira to include it), but they weren't really dynamic, just a simple list of static links, which included Jira and Confluence. The OnDemand bar is more clever than that, I tink.

Hi,

I've added a possible answer here with some HTML / CSS
