can' login to repo by gui

After update to version 1.6.24.0 on windows 7 64bit.

I can't login by gui it return 

git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false push -v --tags origin master:master
fatal: Authentication failed for 'http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/Bonobo/xxx.git/'

but by build in terminal i can login and used command  normally.

Yes, me and my colleagues have the same problem. The solution: downgrade!

It seems to be a problem with the passwd file - it is always overwritten and the password is not stored - so SourceTree always asks for it again.

A colleague used another solution: he stored his password in the file (of course not plain text, find the original file somewhere, maybe on another machine) and made it read-only. But this is a workaround.

So better: just use an older version of SourceTree until this problem is fixed, version 1.6.24 is not usable!

This might be related to this open bug: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREEWIN-3957

As Chris suggested, the workaround at the moment is downgrade to version 1.6.23.
