Good afternoon, I'm setting up a server 7 and jira confluence 05.08.16 both in https is giving error I try to add a directory of users at the confluence for him to catch the jira. Error "Connection failed test Response from the server.:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target "

How do I fix this?

Hello there,

This is a issue with the truststore between the instances. You'll need to import the certificates for JIRA and Confluence into the truststore, as instructed on the following article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/KB/Unable+to+Connect+to+SSL+Services+due+to+PKIX+Path+Building+Failed
