How to automatically move Status to overdue ?

Hy i have a workflow with a status overdue. Now i want JIRA to automatically move my status to overdue , once the due date is overgone ...otherwise thats stupid to use.. I that somehow possible ?

There are several ways to accomplish, it's not a native JIRA feature. You can check the ScriptRunner Escalation Service (https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Escalation+Service) which is easy to configure. You can also create your own cron script which can do the same thing if you don't like this option.

Have similar demand. Was anyone able to find answer for that? Using JIRA Next Gen Project type and also need to move status to "overdue" automatically, once task breached time limit

It will be sent by an interval/time you configured it to be.

ok but this e mail will not be fired automatically by the system , but i need to create Filter and send them resulsts of filter

Typically you'd have a Dashboard Gadget that detailed overdue issues on a chart or a Filter Subscription that emailed users when issues were overdue.
