Statistics.

HI

Is there a place i can see how many customers are using linux as confluence server vs how many customers are using windows server.

Or can you Some rough numbers? We would like to know this to make a platform decision.

There's no way of knowing this.  Atlassian gather operating system information when support calls come in, but there's no real attempt to gather an accurate list - I've worked with hundreds of Atlassian systems and raised support calls for less than 1% of them.

In my experience, you're looking at 80-90% running Atlassian applications on Linux, which is good because Linux is by far the better platform.

However, what other people are doing should NOT be used to inform your decision here.  You should base it on your organisations ability and willingness to support applications running on those servers.  If you have little or no Linux there, then run it on Windows.  Linux is better, but if you have no support for it, it's not worth it.

Not really what i meant. That plugin is for confluence

I am looking how many people are running confluence server on windows or on linux.

Not sure about their operating systems, but you can find the Confluence statistics with the Google Analytics Plugin for Confluence.
