How can I send reminder mails from confluence when some expiry date is approching ( for eg: 15 days before XYS expires)

yuvika vats July 16, 2014

Hi,

I am creating a repository of some data on confluence and I want to know how can I send reminders to particular email accounts once XYZ product is getting expired, maybe 15 to 30 days before the expiry happens. Is there a way to add this facility in the table? Please help.

Archiving Plugin for Confluence is a simple yet flexible tool to implement reminders in Confluence.

In your use case, just add the label "expire-yy/mm/dd" to the product's main page. "yy/mm/dd" means the expiry date in year/month/day format, like "expire-15/10/20" meaning 2015 Oct 20.

After that, the plugin will send automatic notifications to the email addresses you specify.

In confluence, you have to configure an Action class to send emails using the Confluence Mail API:
