How to create custom renderer for component field?

Hi,

I need to create custom renderer for component field, that uses Autocomplete or Select list renderer. I have tried to find any tutorial on that, but with no success.

Could someone point me to some documentation or tutorial? The closest one is here http://biercoff.com/creating-a-custom-jira-wiki-renderer-plugin/, but i did not manage to make it working.
