Hi Vincent!
We have lots of things to organize on our release of the JIRA 7, but I will try to answers your questions the best I can.
JIRA 6.4.12 - We just didn't put the files in our archive page yet. We are probably doing it soon or latter.
[edited] JIRA 7 source - You should have access to the source code, this is probably something we will also fix soon or later.
JIRA Download - not sure what do you mean when you say "How can we process if we want to install JIRA without JIRA Service". Using the Windows installers, you can choose if you want to install JIRA as a service or not.
If you are looking for the zip archives, to install JIRA from an archive, you can choose the OS X option in the download page to get the tar.gz file, unzip it and use in Windows the same as always. There is no installer for OS X actually, OS X is not a supported platform for JIRA.
Cheers!
Teilor
Hi Teilor,
Until now, I have only used Windows Installer when I want install it as Service. I have never seen that there was a way to install it without Service.
I will check with the solution based on OS X Distribution, if needed.
Related the sources with Starter license, I download them since 4 years, and hope it will the same for future.

I have more than a starter licence and the source is still not available.

> Starter licenses do not have access to the JIRA source code; this is not something particular for JIRA 7, it was already this way in previous versions And actually this isn't true, previously a $10 licence was enough to get the source.

You are right Jamie, I will edit my answer. I got confused with the evaluation license; starter licenses should have access to the source code

@Teilor Soares is correct. We are working out a couple bugs in our build system, but we will make source distributions and the ZIP archives available asap.

Hi Teilor, Always no news about access to JIRA 7 Sources ? May we have a estimate of date. It would be useful in order to schedule other activities. Thanks Vincent

+1 here for the sources. Customers keep asking for ETA for JIRA 7, but without sources I can't give them anything.

Thanks for links, should be noted that also sources will be _probably_ available in new locations, but at the moment not compatible with our old licenses. As I've guessed - sources are available on above mentioned links when you buy new JIRA 7 (even starter) licence.

As JIRA Starter license owner (bought in August), I can see none of them. It means that I have to buy a new license or to renew it ? As Starter License, it is not an important cost, but for users that have by example a 200 users of JIRA, they have to buy at least a Starter license. If I understand the sources are only available for users that bought JIRA 7 ! May I also understand that new users that have just purchased JIRA 7, will be not able to see sources of JIRA 6.x and before ? Or is there a need to convert an existing license into JIRA Core license and be able to see always. Our plugins developed for JIRA have to be tested against JIRA Core, JIRA Software & JIRA Service Desk. It means that we need to purchase each license of each new Products. The License matrix detailed in https://confluence.atlassian.com/migration/jira-7/jira-license-compatibility-matrix is clear, but is not applicable to source download ! Exact ? In other terms, if we consider the access to sources, JIRA has reached is EOL and we have 3 new products ! Thanks for clarifying the actions Vincent

Well I renewed my JIRA Starter license and it became JIRA Software license and still I can not see any sources. Can anyone say if I buy 10$ JIRA Core would I be able to see anything?

I bought $10 JIRA Core and I can see JIRA 7.0.0 sources, however, that does not show previous JIRA sources.

Hi Mihamina, Yes of course, you are right. I agree that I am going to quickly with questions that may be closed as soon as they will have completed their deliver Related VMs, I would be happy to use them, but I have experienced different issues with the last installation that make Internet not functionnal from the VMs. I have to plan a full rebuild of my PC to resolv this. Thanks V.

Maybe I am not as reasonable as Vincent, but I don't see why the sources could not be available at the time the release is made. It helps plugin vendors gain compatibility, which helps Atlassian.
