Does anybody know what are the macros available for workflow post functions?

I am looking for ways accomplish the following:

1. when creating an epic, construct an URL using the epic name and set it to a custom url field. for example, if an epic named "automation test", the url will be http://confluence.mycompany.com/display/automation+test. i see update custom field post function has macros such as %%Current_User%%. is other macro such as %%Summary%% available?

2. automatically create a confluence page from template based on the url from #1

  1. Conditioned Workflow Functions for JIRA has post functions for updating issues including Substitution variables (we don't call them macros).
  2. CLI Plugin for JIRA has post functions for integrating with other Atlassian products like Confluence. How to create Confluence pages is one of the standard user cases.

Hi Ming,

I believe you are referring to the post-function added by the JIRA Suite Utilities plugin, correct?

According to Beecom (plugin vendor) docs, you can only use the current_user macro currently, but you can request for other macros.

Cheers

Hi marcus, yes. i see. is there any alternative method you can think of? I suppose I can create a post function script if there is nothing else.
