Hi guys,
I'm trying to gather more improved features in Confluence 5 to add to our wish list so our admins might upgrade sooner from 4.3.7 to Confluence 5.0.
I haven't found this in the doc or KB (or have not looked well enough), but can anyone comment on the possiblity of having a fixed width for table columns in Confluence 5?
Many thanks!
This can be done using the Table Plus Macro - see Controlling the Width of Table Columns
A free-of-charge user macro that sets a fixed width for all columns on a page is described in this issue. Unfortunately people tend to hawk expensive plugins rather than give info on free fixes.

Thanks Mick and Bob!
Submitted Bob's plugin for review, but ran into the "admin has to review" wall again ;)

Steven,
At the moment the tables in 5 act in the same way as they do in 4. So if you want them to stop adjusting themselves on a random basis, you either have to code it yourself or see if there's a plugin that you can use.
cheers.
