When will Atlassian be able to share the OSQA to Confluence Questions conversion scripts?

We have an internal site "powered by OSQA", and we'd like to move all of the information from there into our new installation of Confluence Questions. Is there any information available about when Atlassian will be able to share the scripts for this conversion work?

Below is the description and caveats to note. Thanks for your patience, all.

This repository contains a python script for migrating content from an OSQA installation to a Confluence installation running the Questions for Confluence add-on.
Please be aware of the following important conditions:

1. Use of this script is not supported or endorsed by Atlassian. Use at your own risk.

2. This script was written to work against a forked, custom version of OSQA, and may not work against your own OSQA installation.

3. This script is not being actively maintained. Pull requests or bug reports may not be actioned orresponsed to.

4. No documentation is provided, save for the instructions embedded within the script itself.

We're aiming to publish them once we've completed our own migration - check back in July once we're live with the new site :)

July 17, and looking forward to see the migration scripts, I hope they do merge data, not overriding existing one.

Hi Sorin - we've moved the migration date back to August now (I've been keeping the FAQ linked in the banner up to date with our plans).

Our own requirements do not need to handle the need to merge data into an existing Confluence instance, since we're setting up Answers on a new Confluence server. I'm not sure if our script will currently handle that, but there's certainly the possibility to modify the script once it's been released.

Apologies - it appears that CQ-1475 is an attempt to get the scripts released. We can vote to ask for the scripts. Do appropriate folks at Atlassian understand that this is discouraging companies from using Confluence Questions? Let's pretend that I've been trying to sell a corporate manager/director/etc on using Confluence questions. First I had to explain that we couldn't pilot Confluence questions until after the scripts were available, because the scripts won't merge data into an existing Confluence instance, so we dont' want to deploy anything until the conversion can be done. Then I had to explain that the original July data moved to August, and then beyond. Now I have to explain that 3 months after the original date I am able to place a vote to ask Atlassian to release the scripts at some unspecified date in the future. (Implying that if the item does not get enough votes then no conversion scripts are available.) When speaking with a manager/director/etc. who needs reliability in order to meet corporate requirements this does not place Atlassian at the top of the preferred vendor list.

Is there any progress? In the Company, where I work, we want to test OSQA for a time before we buy a better Q&A System. And if we buy such a system, we "will" buy Confluence Questions. And then we will need a migration tool.
