How do I export screens from one environment to another? Background: using a normal SDLC process, we make changes in a Dev environment and migrate to QA and then to production. I am exporting more objects but can't easily find how do some.

You can use Configuration Manager for JIRA to do that. What you need is one of the main targeted scenarios of the add-on.

It supports not only screens but any other JIRA configuration like projects, workflow, schemes, custom fields, etc...

We also offer a free live demo for anyone interested - just drop a mail to support@botronsoft.comif you want to see details about what the add-on can do for you.

Boris, Thanks for the quick reply. I had hoped I was missing something in Jira and wouldn't need to buy additional software. I will certainly take a closer look at your product.

Migrating JIRA configuration is a highly requested feature since 2005, but still the only solution is to use an add-on.

Of course there are free solutions involving a lot of scripting, but they're incomplete and/or error prone in a lot of scenarios especially with more complicated configurations.
