Can we force users to submit Tempo time sheets for the set period, to be able to access Jira Agile Board?

Hello,

I am facing a company wide problem of teams not submitting timesheets on Friday's, which delays our company wide reporting and invoicing.

We have set reminders form Tempo too. But it seems to be failing to get teams attention.

Please advice on how we can force the last weeks timesheet submission, before being able to start work this week in Jira or Tempo.

P.S. I am using OnDemand. I am also open to some paid API integrations to make this possible.

Hi,

this question was handled through an Issue in our Tempo Timesheets project (https://tempoplugin.jira.com/browse/TT-641).

"After discussing this with the development team, they confirm that there is not workaround for this. Project management will take a look at this problem and decide how we can improve on this feature.

In Tempo Timesheets 7.9. we will add the Approval report. This will show reviewers the status of timesheets.
If you are using the Scheduler to send reminders to your users, you might add into the email template that they should also submit their timesheet see also https://tempoplugin.jira.com/wiki/display/TEMPO/Scheduler+E-mail+Template)."
