Story ID is not getting added in two dimensional filter statistics gadget?

Hi All,

Story Id is the custom field in Jira and its data type is Text field(single line).

Its not getting added in the two dimensional statistics filter gadget.

I have two queries,

Its not getting added because it is not under countable category?

Its not getting added in x axis and y axis because it is Text field data type?

Is the solution only to install stattable searcher plugin?

Please provide me the exact reason, why it's not appearing and provide me the solution to rectify it.

Abinaya's answer is correct in that you'll be able to use it with that plugin.

But, it doesn't answer the rest of your question. The reason text fields are not "stattable" is because it's mostly useless. Users can enter whatever they want in text fields, and all that you'll get when it's stattable is a long list of individual lines, mkaing the axes available on the 2d statistics effectively pointless. You might as well just use a filter statistics gadget.
