Setting permission

Hi,

I am trying to set permission to a confluence page that I have created. Following the Tools->Permission. It doesn't show the permission dialog. Is there something I am missing?

Hey Kevin,

This error could be caused by many different symptoms. In example, external plugins, corrupted data in Confluence, some possible customisations in the instance... However, we can definitely try to isolate them by the following:

# Try to run Confluence under Plugin Safe Mode and try to open the dialog again.

# If not, let's give a try to clean the plugins cache to see how it goes.

# And for the least, let's isolate customisations, if you have in your instance. You can see that in *_Confluence Admin > Look and Feel_* and verify the following:

a) Themes: See which theme you're using, switch back to the default if you're not using it already.

b) Layouts: See if you have any custom layout defined, if yes then make a backup and reset to default.

c) Stylesheet: See if you have custom stylesheet, if yes then make a backup and reset to default.

d) Custom HTML: See if you have any custom HTML defined, if yes then reset to default.

Hi Kevin,

What you get when you click the permission link? Anything pop up on atlassian-confluence.log?

As a first troubleshoot, I would clear the plugin caches.
