Sharing authentication between JIRA and Confluence with JIRA user server

Andrew Farren April 15, 2014

I have set up the link between jira and confluence. I can authenticate and log into confluence successfully using jira credentials. However, if I am logged out of both applications and I log into one or the other, when I get to the one I haven't logged into I have to authenticate again.

I am not using crowd. Does the JIRA user server not support this functionality?

You need to purchase and set up Crowd to get SSO. Jira User Server is sort of a "Crowd light" and it does not offer SSO.
